3D digitisation is a very interesting approach to transcribe the complexity of heritage objects. From high quality photographs taken according to specific protocols, it is possible to calculate precise 3D models that capture the shape, dimensions and colours of the works.
I am a partner of fokus GmbH, whose expertise in 2D and 3D documentation of heritage has been recognised for 20 years. I participate with them in digitisation projects as well as in the translation of the Metigo MAP software that this company develops for heritage experts (architects, restorers and ...). I also offer training in this software as well as in surveying and 3D scanning techniques.
I bring my sensitivity as a photographer and my experience in 3D digitisation of heritage to the service of a common memory. Documenting heritage means taking an interest in our past but also in our present. Whether I am digitising ancient artefacts or showing current creators in photos and videos, what is important to me is to highlight work that makes sense.
